Zerosion was created during time spent working in the North Sea on offshore O&G installation and seeing the continual failures and the inferior products offered as anti-corrosion solutions in both the UK and US.

We wanted to create a system that takes the protects bolted joints and flanges in a saline rich environment, that can be used within ATEX installations, that do not require hot works permits, expensive electrical equipment (ATEX II rated or not).

Moreover, we wanted to create a system that selected or preferred fabric maintenance teams / companies / contractors can use, that is cost effective.

It is with these efforts that Zerosion started to gain traction for offshore and onshore uses within hydrocarbon companies and producers; as a system we were used to protect pipe-run assets like valve bodies, flanges on Christmas tress and well heads, then we started venturing into pipeshoe protection for new installations and lifted pipe during maintenance and to handrail protection on offshore assets.

We also became prolific in non-welded pipe joint system asset protection following the release of HSE document related to Chloride Stress Corrosion Cracking.

So where does Zerosion fit in with your Oil and Gas projects?

Zerosion is designed to be a removable asset protection system for components that require mechanical intervention; so bolted joints, valve assemblies, flanges or any asset that will, at some point require maintenance or the nuts and bolts removing / torque tightening or just standard maintenance.

Zerosion is designed to be taken off when access is required, then recoated when finished, simply with a brush, giving the asset 10 years of extra life. Zerosion is east to apply, is designed so your FM team can apply it, and can be used in all Ex-environments.
